Leadership 101

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the Leadership Council?

A group of 4-6 students selected by staff and fellow peers to be a voice for the students! Students are elected to this Council and remain there (if desired) until Graduation. The Council meets weekly to discuss events, ideas, and opportunities to have a lot of fun at school. These students are there to help answer any questions or concerns you many have to ensure Renaissance students feel heard and important!

Currently serving on Leadership Council:
Kim Stopa (Day)
                 April McQuay (Day & Night)
Sarah Fausett (Day)
            Megan Crookston (Night)

*Mandy Humphreys (School Director) is present for all meetings. We heart you Mandy!

What is the Leadership Committee?

Any student that wants to participate is welcome to join the Leadership Committee. We want all students to have a voice for their school and encourage all positive, uplifting, and helpful suggestions! We want problem solvers and people who seek solutions. You can be assigned to specific tasks or be there to help as needed. Once a month, the Leadership Committee meets with the Leadership Council to discuss monthly events, photoshoots, parties, service opportunities, etc.  This is the perfect place for you to help make a difference at our school! It's also a really fun way to get to know other students and make new friends!
